Golden Globe Awards 2010: Best Dressed

By Kelly Jemo

Can we have a new show where she changes in and out of hot outfits again?

Jennifer Garner: Garner was elegance personified in her neutral Versace gown. The simple half-up 'do and Bulgari jewelry made her shine. I dare say she might have been the best dressed of the night.
She needed an extra seat for the train of her dress.

Sofia Vergara: The Modern Family beauty was a stunner in a Caroline Herrera blue gown with crimson red detailing in the front and bow in the back. The fact that she kept it simple with the jewelry (in this case, Chopard) added to her exotic allure.

Excuse us. We need a moment.
Jennifer Aniston: When I heard Aniston was presenting an award with Gerard Butler, I was looking forward to seeing how that sexy Scot was looking. The minute I saw Aniston standing next to him, I couldn't take my eyes off of *her*. The black Valentino gown fit her like a glove and it worked for her, even though she was potentially only a tiny tear away from a wardrobe malfunction. The Versace stilletos accentuated the legs that, as we could see, went *all* the way up.
What a glorious feeling...

Jon Hamm: I know there are people who felt that Hamm's beard made him look like he had found a job as a lumberjack in Mad Men's off-season. Not me, though. I thought the beard was less Paul Bunyan and more hella-hot. After staring at him for a few minutes, I took a pregnancy test just to be safe.
Dear Helen: Call us.

Helen Mirren: Mariah, take note: *this* is how to do it. Mirren always looks classy and chic, and this year was no exception. She looked flawless in Armani.
She *almost* looks not evil!

Reese Witherspoon: Reese Witherspoon's sleek, simple, elegant cobalt blue Nina Ricci dress, and equally simple hairstyle, really worked for her. After last year's black-and-blue Oscar fashion disaster by Rodarte, Reese seemed to remember this year that for her, less really is more.
